Global sports and entertainment publisher is looking for a technically-savvy and commercially-minded senior programmatic manager. 

The business is currently looking to expand its capabilities and grow revenue on their programmatic and social media channels. You will be the go-to programmatic expert for the ANZ business and lead commercial and tech strategy, sales and product development across some of the world's leading sports and entertainment brands!

The ideal candidate will be well-networked in the local programmatic landscape with strong relationships and a background coming from agency trade desk, adTech vendor (SSP, DSP, DMP) or publisher sales, but stemming from a digital hands-on foundation and good knowledge of display, mobile, video, and social. You will have extensive experience in relation to on-boarding and optimising vendors, in addition to selling to desks from a publisher standpoint; OR from an adTech standpoint you have worked on drumming up demand from trade desks and also have a good technical aptitude.

Reporting into the ANZ Head of Sales, this is an independent contributor role to start, but you will have the support of an assistant and potential for team growth down the line.

• Develop private marketplace and programmatic guaranteed deals with agencies and brands direct to grow revenue both through existing and new business
• Daily optimisation of deals, RTB rules, floor pricing and ad formats to improve yield
• Manage SSP, DMP, Header Bidding, and data platform vendor relationships, as well as DMP on-boarding process for the local market
• Lead programmatic RFPs providing comprehensive responses, contract execution and on boarding of new vendors and products
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure platform set-up is delivering optimal revenue outcomes
• Build and maintain an executive level dashboard to monitor key trends
• Provide accurate and timely revenue reports and forecasts to management, and clearly communicate traffic forecasts to buyers
• Monitor the quality of creative being run on programmatic and social channels
• Create and execute a quarterly commercial strategy, as well as end of quarter reports 
• Select additional data partners to work with on segmenting audiences, and make recommendations on the utilisation of, and monetisation of first party data
• Determine a commercial proposition, channel improvements, and ratecard for owned social media pages
• Drive revenue from third party distribution platforms
• Educate the wider business on programmatic and social media best practices and trends

• 6-8+ years’ experience in programmatic/digital media sales/accounts coming from agency, adTech or publisher backgrounds
• Passion for sport and entertainment sectors
• Active and strong relationships with ANZ agency trade desks and adTech vendors
• Proven track record in meeting and exceeding targets, KPI/incentive-driven
• Strong knowledge of data and platforms, analytically-minded, technically-savvy with any of the following platforms: SSPs - ADX, AppNexus, Pubmatic, Rubicon, DMPs- Adobe and Bluekai
• Excellent communication, presentation and Microsoft Office suite skills
• Attention to detail, highly organised, solutions-focussed, collaborative and innovative
• Able to clearly articulate strategic imperatives to a diverse, global group
