A high-profile Melbourne creative agency with over 20 years of reputation in the market is on the search for a Media Buyer to join their media team. This agency encourages a work-life balance and with a hybrid working model, you will be working from either their brand new office space in the inner east or from the comfort of your home/local cafes/anywhere with wifi. With monthly get-togethers, morning teas and social gatherings this company is eager to have someone join asap!

Duties & Responsibilities:

Working alongside the Media Director and team of buyers /coordinators you will step in and manage an existing portfolio of clients and jump right in with responding to clients' briefs with strategic media plans.

The Media Buyer will nurture and develop relationships with publishers and media agencies in order to achieve the best outcomes and competitive rates. You will be buying and planning media with a strong focus on digital and print channels.

Some key responsibilities:

· Organising and planning media schedules.

· Providing monthly performance reports and activity stats.

· Managing an existing portfolio of property clients.
· Keep track of all invoices in the accounting system.
· Liaise with media publishers/ negotiate media rates.

About you:

· 1 + years experience in Media Buying/Planning

· High level of media understanding on all platforms

· Strong organisation skills
