Agency Account Manager

Do you love working with clients, creatives, and external experts to develop exciting new campaigns?   
Do you come from integrated advertising, or a similar field and have loads of experience working on retail campaigns?

We are looking for a strategically-minded individual with strong experience and passion for delivering great projects from across all marketing channels.

The ideal candidate should have an extensive understanding of ATL, digital and social with a proven track record of dealing with well-thought-through, strategically sound, and creatively excellent work.

You will be armed with at least 3 years’ relevant experience in a creative agency or client-side and will be at ease talking strategically - to both clients and the wider agency – about creativity, delivery and planning.

Day to day:

- Account Managers need to be strategically sound, and have the presence of mind and intelligence to critically analyse creative strategies and consult clients or agency teams on strategic approaches
- Have a passion for advertising and the drive to push projects against all odds
- Run the day-to-day activity of the account, including status meetings, finances, timings, reporting
- Lead and run projects and own parts of the business with autonomy and expertise (with support from the wider team)
- Confident in presenting work to clients & interpreting / interrogating feedback.
- Hold an understanding of agency process from client brief, to delivery and measurement

You will:

- Excellent knowledge of all NZ ATL and digital media platforms types (from content and targeting perspective)
- Specialist retail experience (in-store campaign, collateral and comms)
- Comfortable running integrated campaigns and collaborating with cross-agency teams and media agencies on the delivery
- Ability to brief creative teams and work with them as a consultant to best shape the work in response to the client and agency brief.

Additional experience in consumer electronics and working as part of a global network are an advantage.
